Be challenged – You’re either growing or you’re dying, and we’re committed to growth. So be ready to have your toes stepped on, because like they say, “no pain, no gain.”
When you arrive at Indian Hills Middle School, the adult worship service is held in the cafeteria/auditorium. Our services generally last 75 minutes, which means during football season you will get home in plenty of time to set the TV tray up in front of the big screen to watch the Chiefs. The dress is casual, but if you feel more comfortable in a suit, that is fine too! It’s a come-as-you-are culture at Mercy Church, so just wear whatever is comfortable for you.
We pride ourselves on being a church that teaches the life-changing truth of the Bible. You will find that we do it in a life applicable, fun, and sometimes entertaining way, although we take the message of hope through Jesus Christ very seriously. It is our goal to help people connect with God on a real level, which aligns with our vision of “leading people to a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Our music is outstanding, and it’s more than just good quality music; it’s heartfelt and God-directed. We strive to serve God with excellence in every area of gifting, and music is just one of the visible areas of Mercy Church where you will experience that.
One important thing to know about Mercy Church is that we do not subscribe to the legalistic, judgmental stuff that is sadly such a part of Christianity. We love God and love people…period! No one at Mercy Church will look at you sideways for any reason…well, actually they WILL look at you funny if you act like you are perfect and holier-than-thou…but only then! We are a community of broken people hungry for God, accepting and loving one another unconditionally, as Christ has loved us.
Bottom line: You are welcome and wanted at Mercy Church, where you can truly be accepted for who are as you become all that God intends you to be.
We have wonderful Sunday School Classes for all children during our main adult service that are staffed by qualified and trained workers who love children. Using age appropriate materials, we strive to teach children the life-changing truths of Scripture as we model what a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ looks like. Children are the church of tomorrow, so we believe in giving them our very best!

Student Group – //epidemic is a discussion-style Bible Study for junior high and high school students (grades 6th-12th), held every Sunday at 10:25AM right after the adult music service in Room 137. Our student pastor, Geoff Lundy, is passionate about helping young people navigate through the issues they face, and in that process, discover and develop an authentic relationship with Christ.
