Membership

Here at Mercy Church it’s more about “Belonging” than it is “Membership” for us. We feel that everyone should belong somewhere, where they can be loved, accepted, and valued while participating or contributing to a cause outside of themselves and greater then themselves. We believe that it’s Mercy Church. It’s home!

Six times a year we offer a membership opportunity through our Newcomer’s Class called “Belong,” held on a Sunday immediately following our regular worship service. If you are interested in belonging to Mercy Church, please plan to attend the next class; check our website and/or Sunday’s bulletin for upcoming dates.

Membership Covenant:

 

10 things you can expect from Mercy Church:

  1. We’ll pray for you.
  2. We’ll love you.
  3. We’ll provide a place for you to serve God and use your gift.
  4. We’ll provide balanced Biblical teaching.
  5. We’ll serve you to the best of our ability.
  6. We’ll believe the best about you.
  7. We will not judge you.
  8. We’ll provide godly leadership.
  9. We’ll seek God’s direction for MC.
  10. We’ll do things with Honesty and Integrity.

5 Things we expect from YOU the member:

  1. Attend Sunday service each week (if not sick, out of town or going to the Super Bowl).
  2. Serve Somewhere – Be a part of some Ministry Team within MC.
  3. Financially support MC – Tithing (10%) is a Biblical Goal.
  4. Pray – for MC and its Ministry Teams.
  5. Invite – Bring friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to MC.
